ADIABATIC COOLING
Adiabatic cooling technology is now used in many solutions, and has even more exciting opportunities, for example, air-cooled chillers, and, in particular, chillers with free cooling. For them, in addition to reducing the condensation temperature, the time interval for the operation of the free cooling system is significantly extended, because the adiabatic approach helps to further reduce the temperature of inlet air. The graphic below illustrates the point for a chilled water system, based on water economizer with an adiabatic system

During the last summer season, despite the constantly high air temperature with average 32℃ and high humidity of the coastal territory, the evaporative cooling system installed on air-cooled chiller reduced the condensation temperature by an average of 7 degrees., chiller with cooling capacity of 500KW saved 60kW/h every hour, thereby reducing electricity costs per season by EUR 19,500 .
